RAFT Systems has recently been awarded a contract to replace existing, and to provide new, microwave radio links for a HM Naval Base. The new links will provide part of a new network infrastructure supporting a major Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) upgrade with redundancy from both a network and equipment perspective.
RAFT Systems have carried out initial line of sight surveys, site surveys and link design and will shortly be installing the new links. This will also involve supporting existing legacy circuits whilst the new VTS system is brought on line.
