The renewables market is burgeoning and RAFT Systems has recently been involved in planning and installing microwave radio links for an off-shore wind farm. This has initially involved link planning, link factory acceptance testing and equipment installation onto an off-shore sub-station in the fabrication yard prior to it floating out. It is anticipated that final link commissioning will take place during the summer once the off-shore sub-station is in place.
